... Hi there everybody. Thanks for coming. And no, you won't find anything here.
(And for those who have seen that photo, the stupid guy on the left is me.)

| I spent the whole weekend revamping and polishing the site. http://sidney.hk (and my blog)
You might as well take a look |
| |
| It's been some time since my last visible entry here. Nothing of substance, except to state that I am still somewhat alive.
My mind is a little blank, so t'is all for now.
(btw, why is it that almost every time I write a new entry, the editor seems to have changed?) |

| The following is just to eat space.
[Chap 1]
The way that can be told is not always the true Way;
descriptions which can be described are not always accurate descriptions.
"Nothingness" is described as the beginning of everything (In the beginning nothing could be described;)
"Something" is described as the mother of all things (Descriptions of things were possible since the mother of things existed.)
So one must embrace nothingness to understand the wonders of the Tao
(One abstains from descriptions to understand subtlety of things;)
And one must embrace things to see their properties (One uses descriptions to clarify boundary of things.)
Nothingness and existence came from the same root and are collectively
called the Mysterious Wonders. Ever more mysterious and wonderful, it
is the source of all subtleties.
[Chap 2]
Everyone sees beauty as beauty, simply because ugliness exists;
Everyone sees kindness as kindness, simply because unkindness exists;
Therefore "existence" and "nothingness" spawn at the same time together,
"easy" and "difficult" are concepts created at the same time,
"long" and "short" are only relative in shape,
"high" and "low" are concepts created by differences in height,
"music" and "noise" are only relative in harmoniousness
"front" and "back" merely describes which follows which.
Therefore the wise man manages affairs without pursuing anything,
and preaches without words.
Things in the world function without fuss,
produce without possessing,
act without claiming authority,
complete tasks without claiming credit
Only when nothing is claimed, the works are not begone.
